- Kate, Ben-Tziyyon
- (1875-1958)Israeli journalist and author, of Russian origin. In 1903 he founded and edited the Hebrew periodical Ha-Zeman, which appeared first at St Petersburg and later at Vilna. In 1916 he established a Hebrew weekly Ha-Am, in Moscow. After World War I he settled in Berlin, and in 1931 moved to Palestine, where he continued his work in Hebrew journalism. He published studies of Russian Jewish history.
